You must be a Farm Bureau member or employee to be eligible for the referral reward payment of $5,000. Connect with your local Farm Bureau for membership information. 

Referral Information

Reward Requirements:

Agent referral must complete the Developing Agent Program1 and become a contracted agent with the companies.

You must be an active full or part-time employee, Farm Bureau agent or an active and paid Farm Bureau member in order to receive Recruiting Reward Payments. All advisors2; FBL Financial Group employees and Farm Bureau members in Arizona, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, South Dakota and Utah are eligible.

 FBL Financial Group employees with positions responsible for recruiting and relatives of individuals directly responsible for recruiting are not eligible to submit referrals for reward payments.

In the event of duplicate referrals, the first person to submit the referral will be the referrer of record.

All award payments are taxable income in the year received. For employees and agents, awards will be added to commission statements or payroll statements. For members, reward recipients will receive a 1099. A completed W-9 form is required for reward payout.

The payout schedule in place at the time of referral will be the schedule for which you receive reward payments.

1 Developing Agent Program is a pre-contract requirement prior to the candidate/company contracting full-time.

2Advisors are expected to comply with all applicable non-solicitation agreements. They should not submit referrals until after they join Farm Bureau Financial Services, and then only if doing so does not violate any existing non-solicitation agreement.

The companies reserve the right to have discretionary authority for eligibility decisions and may discontinue the Recruiting Rewards Program at any time.
