What does being a Farm Bureau insurance agent mean to you?

In my opinion, Farm Bureau is focused on creating quality relationships with our clients. There’s a reason we work with families within the community for so many years, and that’s because Farm Bureau Financial Services is genuinely invested in helping families when they need it most.

a job that does good

Some clients have been with our company for decades. In fact, my family has trusted Farm Bureau since the 1950s, and each year we would set up a meeting to discuss the best options to protect our livelihood. I’m very happy that now I’m the Farm Bureau agent forming connections with friends and families in my community, being the person they can rely on.

What is your favorite thing about being a Farm Bureau insurance agent?

The best thing about being an insurance agent at Farm Bureau is knowing that I’m protecting families in my neighborhood and within the community. It’s rewarding to discuss our insurance options that are the right fit for each personal situation and knowing that if something were to happen to someone or something they value, they trust me to be there for them. Every day when I wake up, I know I’m going to do something good.

What advice would you offer to someone thinking about becoming an insurance agent?

Passion is the key to success in the insurance business. If you truly care about helping your community members, this is the perfect opportunity for you! When you love what you do for a living, people will start to notice, and they’ll be confident that you’ll deliver on your promise with Farm Bureau.

a job that helps your community

Getting involved in the community is another great way to increase your opportunities. People are more likely to trust a familiar face or someone they know, so volunteering in the neighborhood or attending community events is a nice option to get to know more people. Showing them you’re reliable and want what’s in their best interest will definitely help you advance in your insurance business.
