Christopher Bruns was born and raised in North Platte, NE.  After graduating from North Platte High School, he enlisted into the United States Marine Corps and honorably served our country for nearly a decade.  In his service, he has been all around the world.  He has engaged the enemy in combat in Iraq, led humanitarian aid missions in the Philippines, and had many more experiences in between.  He has trained thousands of newly commissioned lieutenants and hundreds of enlisted Marines in a wide breadth of skills, and missions.  Through his service, he was hand selected for many prestigious duties, including working for the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs.  After his last tour, where he managed Marine Corps recruiting operations for the state of Nebraska and a large portion of southwest Iowa, he and his wife decided to pursue other avenues that would allow him to continue to serve the communities he cares about.

After graduating from Creighton University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Chris started in the financial services industry as the Talent Acquisition Manager for a four-state region in the mid-west.  During that time, he also trained new agents, conducted joint work, and wrote personal production.  Although he achieved great success, he sought a company more in tune with the communities that he serves, and found that at Farm Bureau Financial Services.  After working as an Assistant Agency Manager for Farm Bureau Financial Services in eastern Nebraska, he became the Agency Manager in his hometown and serves his agents across 29 counties in greater Nebraska.  He is also excited to provide new opportunities for others to serve their communities.  Christopher is married to his high school sweetheart, Ashley, and together they are raising their three children, Mackenzie (10), Alexander (8), and Kyran (3).  He is devoted to his family, is an avid outdoor enthusiast, and enjoys spending time with them doing all sorts of outdoor activities!
