Farm Bureau Financial Services is happy to introduce you to Suemaya Azadi. Suemaya joined Farm Bureau through the Reserve Agent Program in December 2015 and became an agent in January 2016. She loves helping protect livelihoods and futures, especially working within the local farming community. Let’s learn more about Suemaya and what her career at Farm Bureau means to her!
What’s it like to work for Farm Bureau Financial Services? What appealed to you?
I really enjoy working at Farm Bureau because they’re dedicated to helping me be successful. Additionally, it’s great that they offer help for each set of products that we sell.
What excites you about being a Farm Bureau agent?
I love that I control my own destiny. The harder I work, the greater the rewards. I help people protect the things that matter the most to them.
What are your hobbies outside of work?
I have an 11-month-old son who takes up all of my free time!
Do you have any New Year’s resolutions? If so, how are they going?
My New Year’s resolution is to get my Series 6 and 63. I’ve been studying (my other free time hobby besides my son!) for it with hopes to take it at some point this month.
Spring is just around the corner. What are you looking forward to most after the winter months?
The color green! I’m planning on taking advantage of spring weather by spending more time outdoors with family and hitting the links at the golf course.
Planning to go on a vacation this year? If so, where and what are you looking forward to?
I qualified for a trip to Disneyland in July, which I am very excited for. I’m also planning a family trip to Mexico in March. I love Minnesota, but I need some warmth!
What is your proudest accomplishment?
I’m proud that I’ve been able to launch my own insurance business and hire an amazing staff that helps each other out. We work together to provide the best service to our customers, making sure that we meet all their needs!
What was your dream job growing up?
Growing up, I always wanted a job that allowed me to help other people. The satisfaction I get by helping people with their insurance needs is an amazing feeling.
Who’s your personal hero?
That’s easy; my parents. Without them and their support, I wouldn’t be in this line of work, not to mention in this country. They’ve encouraged me to work hard and go after the things I want in life. I am so thankful for their love and support!
